Rules & Regulations

• Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons and join on time.
• Students who consistently miss lessons or arrive late without a genuine and communicated reason may receive a warning and, where the behaviour continues, may be dismissed from the program.
• Where a student is unable to attend a lesson for a genuine reason, the parent/guardian or student should notify the institute as early as possible.
• Repeated unexplained absences may be treated as a lack of commitment to the program.

Parents and guardians play an important role in the success of their child’s Islamic education. By enrolling a child at Albaseerah Institute, parents/guardians agree to:

• Ensure regular attendance: Make every reasonable effort to ensure that the student attends all scheduled lessons and arrives on time.
• Provide a suitable learning environment: Ensure the student has a quiet, clean, and appropriate place to attend online classes without unnecessary distractions.
• Provide the necessary equipment: Ensure the student has access to a suitable device, reliable internet connection, and any required learning materials.
• Supervise younger students: Parents/guardians should provide appropriate supervision, particularly for younger children, and ensure that they remain engaged during lessons.
• Support assignments and revision: Encourage students to complete their assignments, revise lessons, practise Qur’an recitation, and review what they have been taught.
• Communicate absences promptly: Inform the institute or teacher as early as possible when a student will be unable to attend a scheduled lesson, stating the genuine reason where appropriate.
• Monitor academic progress: Take an active interest in the student’s attendance, assignments, assessments, conduct, and overall progress.
• Maintain communication: Respond promptly to important messages, notices, reports, and requests from the institute.
• Support teachers: Respect the authority of teachers and cooperate with reasonable instructions relating to the student’s education and conduct.
• Address behavioural concerns: Work with the institute where concerns arise regarding attendance, punctuality, behaviour, academic performance, or commitment.
• Ensure respectful conduct: Parents/guardians must communicate with teachers and institute staff respectfully. Abusive, threatening, insulting, or inappropriate communication will not be tolerated.
• Keep contact information updated: Ensure that the institute has accurate and current contact details for effective communication.
• Fulfil financial obligations: Ensure that tuition and other applicable fees are paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

• Students are expected to complete and submit assigned work within the stipulated time.
• Failure to complete assignments without a genuine reason may attract a fine or other disciplinary measure, with the amount determined by the institute.
• Repeated failure to complete assignments may affect a student’s academic progress and continued enrolment.
• Students are expected to revise lessons regularly and come prepared for subsequent classes.

• Students are expected to participate actively during lessons and make reasonable effort to understand and practise what they are taught.
• Students who repeatedly demonstrate a lack of commitment to their studies may be placed under review or withdrawn from the program.
• Parents/guardians of younger students are expected to provide the necessary support to help them attend and participate effectively.

• Students must treat teachers, fellow students, staff, and other members of the institute with respect.
• Insults, abusive language, bullying, harassment, mockery, disruptive behaviour, or deliberate disrespect will not be tolerated.
• Students must follow the reasonable instructions of their teachers during lessons.
• Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension or dismissal, depending on the circumstances.

• Students should join lessons from a quiet and suitable environment free from unnecessary distractions.
• Students should have their required learning materials ready before the lesson begins.
• Students should not leave the class repeatedly, engage in unrelated activities, or use the class for purposes unrelated to learning.
• For younger students, parents/guardians should ensure that the student has a suitable device, stable internet connection, and appropriate learning environment.

• Students must complete their own assignments, tests, and examinations unless assistance is expressly permitted.
• Cheating, impersonation, copying another student’s work, or any deliberate attempt to obtain an unfair academic advantage is prohibited.
• Serious academic dishonesty may result in suspension, cancellation of results, or dismissal.

• Students and parents/guardians are expected to maintain respectful and timely communication with the institute.
• Important notices concerning classes, fees, schedules, examinations, and other academic matters should be acknowledged and acted upon where necessary.
• Concerns or complaints should be communicated through the appropriate institute channel rather than disrupting lessons or engaging teachers inappropriately.

• Tuition and other applicable fees must be paid according to the institute’s stated payment schedule.
• Students with outstanding payments may be restricted from attending classes or accessing certain academic services until the matter is resolved.
• Payments made to the institute are subject to the applicable refund and cancellation policy communicated at the time of enrolment.

• Course notes, recordings, assessments, and other materials provided by Albaseerah Institute are intended for enrolled students and should not be distributed, reproduced, sold, or shared publicly without permission.
• Students must respect the intellectual property and educational materials of the institute and its teachers.

Depending on the nature and frequency of an offence, the institute may take one or more of the following actions:

The institute reserves the right to determine the appropriate disciplinary action based on the circumstances and seriousness of the matter.

A student may be dismissed where there is persistent or serious violation of institute rules, including but not limited to:

• Persistent unexplained absence or lateness.
• Repeated failure to complete assignments.
• Persistent disruptive or disrespectful conduct.
• Serious academic dishonesty.
• Repeated failure to comply with reasonable instructions.
• Conduct that negatively affects the learning environment or reputation of the institute.
• Failure to meet financial obligations after appropriate notice.
• Persistent lack of parental/guardian cooperation where such cooperation is reasonably required.

Albaseerah Institute seeks to deal with disciplinary matters fairly and reasonably. Where appropriate, students or their parents/guardians may be given an opportunity to explain the circumstances before a final disciplinary decision is made.

The institute reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations when necessary and will communicate significant changes to students and parents/guardians.

By enrolling at Albaseerah Institute, students and their parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these rules and regulations.
